| ELECTRIC BANANA™ is available in MANIC PANIC Classic Cream formula exclusively. ELECTRIC BANANA™ is a wild neon yellow with a greenish tinge...you may remember when we used to call this color "Flavine". This electrical color is famous for its brilliance and it GLOWS UNDER BLACK LIGHT! Photography just doesn't illustrate how vivid this color is. ELECTRIC BANANA™ absolutely must be applied to hair that is bleached to white. HOW'D HE DO IT? Our fave Dyehard Gabe bleached his hair with MANIC PANIC Flashlightning until it was whitish/blonde. Then he applied his Electric Banana™ with a tint brush, combed it through his hair, covered his head with a plastic cap, and let the dye sit in his hair for almost one hour. "I blow-dryed the Manic Panic in my hair to truly seap in the color . For maintenance I mixed "Electric Banana" hair dye with my conditioner to replenish the color after every washing." Gabe adds: "When I go to concerts and stand under a black light that I provide sufficient fluroscent lighting for the entire club!" |

| HOW'D SHE DO IT? here's Queen Punkie Xina, another of our number one Dyehards showing off her Electric Banana™ hair. She experiments with a viariety of MANIC PANIC Hair colors! Whether she's wearing her New Rose™ or any other MANIC PANIC color, the Queen always looks like royalty. She writes us: "ELECTRIC BANANA.. what a vibrant and LOUD colour..IT'S AWESOME..def. the one yuh want to use to show your individuality i say... my hair was sitting with MANIC FLASHLIGHTNING in it for almost an hour.. just to make sure i got that perfect white hair to catch this amazingly BRITE color. after that i put in my new ELECTRIC BANANA colouring and watch the sun start to rise in my hair..LOL! i sat with the colour for a good 9 hours ..wrapped in saran wrap ..under a heater . I checked MANICPANIC.COM to see the ending results on someone else first..hahaha! His mom writes us that he is " a natural light brown so we applied lightener and processed for 45 minutes, bringing him to an almost white blonde. This layed the perfect base for the true intensity of the Electric Banana™ which was left on for 45 minutes." GREAT TIP FOR LASTING COLOR SAYS GOOBY: "In addition to basic rinsing, I followed with a mixture of 1/2 cup of lemon juice to a gallon of cool water. This leveled out the pH balance, and kept his color vibrant for weeks!" |
