| PURPLE HAZE™ is available in three MANIC PANIC Hair Color formulas: Gel Formula, Classic Cream Formula, and Amplified Cream Formula. Gels tend to be slightly more dense and may last a little longer than the Classic Creams. Creams have the added bonus of being in a conditioner base. Amplified Cream Formula is the strongest and longest lasting of the three. This striking color, when applied to bleached or pre-lightened hair will be a vivid, deep purple. This color has some strong pigment and will give a subtle to bold highlight on darker and natural hair, provided you allow for extra processing time. (Gooby says : DO A TEST STRIP!) HOW'D HE DO IT? Our Dyehard Jamie is an experienced MANIC PANIC Hair Color user. First he bleaches his hair with Flashlightning™ to almost white. He has a great tip for y'all: he says he washes his hair with shampoo, does not add conditioner, then blow dries his hair before applying MANIC PANIC. This dries out the hair and renders it more porous. He then applies his hair color and leaves it in to process 2 to 3 hours before rinsing with warm water. He's got the best hair color in town, so listen to this guy! |

HOW'D SHE DO IT? Our Dyehard Mimi writes us: " bleached my hair to light blond but not white. A few days later (after lots of conditioning) I washed my hair with clarifying shampoo and blow dried. Then my awesome boyfriend applied the Manic Panic Purple Haze to my hair using a tinting brush and a squeeze bottle. We wrapped it up in some plastic wrap and let it marinate overnight, I really think this helps the color last longer. It's been a few weeks and the color is still as vivid as ever. I've gotten lots of complements and children really seem to love it. I absolutely adore Manic Panic dyes; I recommend it to everyone interested in dying their hair. | |||||||||||||||
