| Ultra Violet™ is available in three MANIC PANIC Hair Color formulas: Gel ,"Classic" Cream, and AMPLIFIED Cream. Gels tend to be slightly more dense and may last a little longer than the creams. Creams have the added bonus of being in a conditioner base. Our AMPLIFIED formula is stronger and lasts 30% longer . Ultra Violet™ works best when apllied to bleached or pre-lightened hair. On natural light blonde hair this color may work well if left in hair for extra processing time. |

| HOW'D SHE DO IT? Our Dyehard Alyssa says the photo at left was taken two days after she dyed it. She writes us "my hair had been bleached for a couple of months before I put this color in. I applied the color with a tint brush (with my gloved hands), worked it into my hair like I was washing it. I also combed it through just for good measure. | HOW'D SHE DO IT? Our Manic Panic poster-child Cynthia ia an experienced user of Manic Panic Hair color. Her most recent purple hair color is a mixture of Ultra Violet AMPLIFIED formula and GEL formula: one jar to one bottle of each. She applied this to her hair which was pre-lightened to a light blonde with our Flashlightning 30 volume bleach kit and let the color process for an hour and a half. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Our Dyehard Jackie writes us "I love my Ultra Violet hair. I use a tint brush to apply the dye to a few streaks of my already bleached hair. I wrap the streaks in foil, apply heat with a blowdryer, and I do this for about 30 minutes to an hour. Manic Panic is amazing! I'd like to think that I'm a dyehard. | Our Dyehard Paul from Northern Ireland bleached his beard for 50 minutes, used vaseline to protect his skin around beard and nose...and applied Ultra Violet™ withheat from a hair dryer to his beard for 10 minutes, then further color and heat for another 5 minutes.
