DYEHARD® OF THE MONTH
Meet our June 2013 Dyehard® of the Month, LIZZY
"Here are the details on coloring process: I started with faded blue/light green tinted hair as a base. On the right half, bottom layer of my hair I applied streaks of Rockabilly™ Blue and Atomic™ Turquoise. On the bottom left half I did streaks of Ultra™ Violet and Purple Haze®. On the middle layer: the front of the right half had Electric Lizard™ applied to it and the back of the right half was Enchanted Forest™. The left half of my middle layer was Hot Hot™ Pink at the front and Purple Haze® streaked in towards the back.
On my top layer, I framed my face with Electric Banana® on the right and Electric Lava™ on the left. I streaked in more Electric Lizard™ on the middle of the top right, as well as another streak of Atomic™ Turquoise. More Hot Hot™ Pink was applied to the middle top left, along with another section of Purple Haze®.
At the very back, I did a section of Rockabilly™ Blue. For a visual reference, it looked like a rainbow pinwheel when I looked down (bottom left photo). I let the dye sit for four hours (while I took a nap! :))" Tips/Advise:
"I always wash under cold water and only shampoo once every three days. To minimize damage, I only bleach new roots as they grow in. When I want to change my color scheme, I wash thoroughly every day with dandruff shampoo until the color has faded out light enough to dye over again"
