For its last days, owner Hilly Kristal presented to his faithful audiences the best from the past including 3 nights of Bad Brains October 9-11, The Bullys, Sic F*cks and Dictators on October 13th,Debbie Harry and Chris Stein on October 14th, and Patti Smith band on the 15th, the final show. Sadly in August of 2007 CBGBs founder and owner Hilly Kristal passed away at the age of 75. He was "like a Dad" to Tish and Snooky and they miss him dearly.
