2006 was the Chinese "YEAR OF THE DOG".
How auspicious that the new pooch to come into our lives that year would have travelled all the way from Taiwan!

KEEPER'S STORY:
A caring woman with a big heart spotted this fine animal being beaten with sticks on the streets of Taiwan. He had been badly abused and he was missing one eye. She managed to rescue the dog, get him to the airport, and have him transported here to the USA to a wonderful organization called PETS ALIVE.
Tish and Snooky had been mourning the loss of Daisy Mae, but were now ready for another dog. When they saw Keeper's photo on the internet they just had to have him.
Keeper lives in the country with Snooky and her husband Andy and their two cats. Everyone gets along just splendidly. This wonderful canine has been escorting Snooky to MANIC PANIC and he really enjoys hanging out with the MANIC PANIC cats and the staff of humans. (Everyone here is an animal lover: if you don't love animals Tish and Snooky won't hire you!). Keeper is extremely sweet and gentle and a little timid. Slowly but surely he is coming out of his shell and digging his new life. Lucky Dog!

Tish and Snooky have been avid animal rights activists all their lives. The entire MANIC PANIC line is cruelty free. Keeper was adopted from an organization called PETS ALIVE.They find homes for many abandoned, abused, unwanted animals. Living with a pet will improve your life condition! Here at MANIC PANIC we are surrounded by pets and it makes our days so enjoyable. Check out the cuddly cuties on PETS ALIVE.
